“GIVE me the “f*cking ball!” England star loses it at a ball boy, while Lionel Messi snubs a child – but Australia’s Mark Bresciano is the perfect gentleman.

ENGLAND goalkeeper Joe Hart completely lost it at a ball boy during his side’s World Cup clash against Italy.

Probably embarrassed after being made to look a fool by a beautiful Andrea Pirlo free kick that struck the crossbar, Hart took his frustrations out on the poor ball kid.

The 27-year-old Hart – clearly desperate to take a quick goal kick with England trailing 2-1 late in the match – started stamping his feet and kicked the advertising hoarding while raging: “Give me the f*cking ball,” at the ball boy, who took all of five seconds to get the ball to him.

Hart isn’t the only player who has come under scrutiny for poor treatment of youngsters, either.

None other than Argentina megastar Lionel Messi has been accused of snubbing a small boy.

Ahead of Argentina’s game against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Messi is seen walking straight past the young mascot, leaving the little guy hanging.

In Messi’s defence, it does appear as though he didn’t see him – but try telling that to the distraight kid.

And while Hart and Messi are either abusing children or breaking their hearts, Australia’s Mark Bresciano is acting as the perfect gentleman.

An image of the Socceroos star tying the laces of a boy with crutches has made waves around the world.

As the Bleacher Report pointed out: “The Socceroos are unlikely to navigate their way out of a group that includes Spain, Netherlands and Chile, but Bresciano’s small gesture of kindness may well leave an impression on the tournament.

At least we’ll leave with something.
