Re-live A-League 2015-16: Adelaide United v Sydney FC at Hindmarsh, Round 10
ADELAIDE United secured victory over Sydney FC through a last-minute Marcelo Carrusca penalty. RE-LIVE THE ACTION.
MARCELO Carrusca struck a last-minute penalty as Adelaide United recorded its second consecutive victory with a 2-1 win over 10-man Sydney FC.
Just when it appeared Filip Holosko’s goal would resign United to further frustration, Jacques Faty fouled Dylan McGowan inside the area and a spot kick was awarded.
Cassusca tucked it away, adding to Jimmy Jeggo’s initial strike, giving the hosts a fortunate and much-needed three points.
Earlier, Sydney FC defender Alex Gersbach was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Jeggo.
