Croatia right-back Sime Vrsaljko, a $26.4m signing from Italians Sassuolo, is among the new signings touring, along with midfielder Diogo Jota and striker Rafael Borre.

An Atletico academy product, Torres returned ‘home’ in 2015 where he has enjoyed a renaissance after unhappy stints at Chelsea and AC Milan since leaving Liverpool in 2011.
Torres, 32, recently penned a one-year contract extension after scoring 12 goals last season, with coach Diego Simeone cleverly managing the striker.
Atletico faces Melbourne Victory at Geelong’s Simonds Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
