Another voice in the clip asks, “Is she out?”

Debate erupted on social media about whether the tackle was necessary, particularly considering none of the players or coaching staff were on the field.

Last month, a female pitch invader who ran partially naked across the field during an NRL game on the Gold Coast was sentenced in court.

Titans supporter Javon Johanson jumped the fence during Parramatta’s victory at the Cbus Super Stadium in April, with footage showing the 28-year-old getting spectacularly tackled by a security guard before being escorted off the pitch.

Ms Johanson fronted Southport Magistrates Court and pleaded guilty to entering a major sports facility without permission.

She managed to avoid a conviction but was handed a three-month good behaviour bond.

Johanson previously accepted that she did the wrong thing, and despite arguments the security guard’s tackle was too heavy, she said she “got what I deserved”.
