PAUL Pogba has arrived at Manchester United’s training ground to undergo his medical ahead of his £89m transfer from Juventus.
The 23-year-old boarded a private jet at Nice airport at around 9.15am this morning and touched down at 11.35am at the private terminal at Manchester Airport.
He was taken from there by car to the club’s training ground, where his medical was due to start at 1pm.
On his arrival at Manchester airport staff there tweeted: “An important passenger has just touched down at the airport. Can anyone guess who it might be?”
Juventus confirmed on Sunday that they had given the midfielder permission to undergo his medical.

And a statement on the United website — under the hashtag ‘Pogback’ — read: “Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.”
Sky Sports News HQ understands the medical may take a couple of days or even longer.
Pogba has been on holiday in the United States since Euro 2016. His agent Mino Raiola has been trying to broker the deal between the Italian champions and United, with his fee for doing so one of the hurdles the clubs have had to overcome.
United’s opening Premier League game is against Bournemouth on August 14, live on Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old left United for Juventus in 2012 having made just seven senior appearances in all competitions for the Premier League club, all from the bench.
Since then he has helped Juve win four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italias and reach the 2014-15 Champions League final, and was part of the France side which finished runners-up at Euro 2016.
Boss Jose Mourinho said after Sunday’s Community Shield victory over Leicester: “United is the perfect club to bring him to the level he wants to be.
“The Premier League is the perfect habitat for that. If you want to be the best player in the world, if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid you are in trouble because I don’t think the other two big guys (Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo) will let you.”
