EPL: Manchester United team news, Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo - Jose Mourinho
JOSE Mourinho was the bearer of wonderful news for Manchester United as he fronted his press conference ahead of a Premier League clash against Newcastle.
PAUL Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo will be in the Manchester United squad for Saturday evening’s Premier League home game against Newcastle, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.
Ibrahimovic and Rojo have both been out of action since April when limping off with knee ligament damage in the Europa League quarter-final second leg with Anderlecht.
Pogba has missed 12 weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury he sustained against Basel on September 12.
The trio have returned to full training in recent weeks while Rojo featured for the Manchester United Under-23s side on Wednesday, and Mourinho has confirmed they will all be part of the squad for the weekend visit of the Magpies to Old Trafford.

“All three selected for the match,” Mourinho said during his pre-match press conference.
“With Paul, you can see - and now I can speak because he’s back and I didn’t like to speak when he was injured - Manchester United this season before the injury and after the injury there are qualities in our football.
“There are qualities that influence our approach in matches with Pogba and without Pogba - that’s as simple as that.
“Zlatan, last season, we played with him every minute almost until he was injured - this season we learned how to play without him.
“We’ve played in a different way but he’s a very important player for us and of course welcomed back.”
Last month, Dr Freddie Fu - Ibrahimovic’s doctor - warned that the striker cannot afford to rush back quickly from injury, a feat by the 36-year old which has been hailed as “incredible” by Mourinho.
“Incredible personality to fight such an important injury,” added Mourinho. “We were all saying in 2017 he will be back, but it is one thing on December 31, 2017, and another in the middle of November.”
