5 things to look out for in the EPL this weekend — Arsenal v Chelsea and Liverpool boss under pressure
JOSE Mourinho and Arsene Wenger face off, Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers under pressure and Anthony Martial under the spotlight again ...
BOTH Manchester clubs and Arsenal were disappointing in the Champions League this week, but Chelsea may have got themselves back on track — and just in time for the weekend’s massive clash.
GET THE GLOVES OUT
Don’t expect to see any handshakes exchanged between Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger at Stamford Bridge, so intense is their rivalry.
Wenger may have got the better of Mourinho in the Community Shield, but the Chelsea manager has a far superior record over Arsenal’s Frenchman. Incredibly, Chelsea are just one place above the relegation zone, while Arsenal are in their familiar position — fourth.
Hard to say which way this one will go, but Arsenal will kick themselves if they don’t get something out of it.

PIZZA PROMISE
Did anyone have reservations when Claudio Ranieri took over at Leicester City? Yes, very much so. But the Italian ‘tinkerman’ has made us all look silly.
Leicester are unbeaten so far and are looking down on everyone bar Manchester City. The Foxes have a tantalising reason to stay there, too — Ranieri has promised the players pizza if they keep a clean sheet against Stoke. Genius.
RAMPAGING CITY
West Ham, who travel to Etihad Stadium, will be hoping Manchester City’s midweek loss to Juventus may have halted their momentum. Manchester United, Arsenal and co. will be hoping for the same thing.
But City have been on a domestic rampage and have already opened up a five-point lead over their rivals (few are realistically expecting Leicester to remain where they are).
It could be an unpleasant visit for the Hammers.
MARTIAL MATTERS
French teenager Anthony Martial scored an impressive goal in his Manchester United debut against Liverpool, causing some to dub him the next Thierry Henry. (Let’s talk when he’s racked up 174 more Premier League goals.)
Martial has a long way to go to justify the ludicrous amount Louis Van Gaal spent on him. While United haven’t been playing too well, they’ve still managed to pick up the points and should get something against Southampton this weekend.
What may affect them though is the loss of Luke Shaw, who suffered a horrific leg-break this week.
AH, LIVERPOOL ...
It could be another one of those seasons for Liverpool fans. All that promise and expectation — was it all a delusion?
There’s a wonderfully funny parody account on Twitter called ‘Deluded Brendan’, who tried to convince followers that Liverpool were outstanding last week against Manchester United.
Well, they weren’t, and Brendan Rodgers may find himself in strife if they don’t win — and win convincingly — against Norwich at home.
