At least 10 women’s A-League games will be shown on free-to-air television this season, including Melbourne and Sydney derbies in round two and three respectively.

The full schedule for the 2024-25 A-League women’s season was released on Thursday, with the competition to kick-off at Ironbark Fields on November 1 when Western United host Wellington Phoenix.

United has received a welcome boost, with Matildas midfielder Chloe Logarzo re-signing with the club.

“Coming back was not a hard decision at all,” Logarzo said.

Reigning champions Sydney FC start the defence of their title the following afternoon in Gosford against Central Coast Mariners.

All games will be streamed on 10 Play and Paramount +, and at least 10 will also be televised free-to-air – including May’s grand final – on 10 Bold.

“After what was the most incredible year of action in season 2023/24, we can’t wait for another exciting year of football featuring more than 15 internationals from around the globe and the best rising stars from across Australia and New Zealand,” A-League commissioner, Nick Garcia said

“This league continues to be the proven pathway for the next generation of international stars, and this season we will again see the best home-grown talent stake their claim to be the global stars of tomorrow.”

The A-League women’s competition also has a new naming rights sponsor – global product design and technology company SharkNinja.

“This partnership is another exciting step in the growth of the league, as we increase the investment in the game and expand our partnership group to help us elevate the league,” Garcia said.
