Anthony Caceres transfer: Melbourne City signs midfielder on loan from Manchester City

MELBOURNE CITY has signed midfielder Anthony Caceres on loan from parent club Manchester City for the remainder of the A-League season.

MELBOURNE CITY has signed midfielder Anthony Caceres on loan from parent club Manchester City for the remainder of the A-League season.

The 23-year-old’s switch comes just days after the English Premier League giants bought Caceres from the Central Coast Mariners.

Caceres will be available for City’s clash with Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park on Monday.

He has featured in 62 A-League matches after making his debut in January 2013, winning last season’s Mariners Medal following a promising breakout campaign.

Caceres will wear the No. 29 shirt at Melbourne City.
