KOSTA Barbarouses doesn’t envy the decision coach Kevin Muscat has to make regarding his foreigners for the Asian Champions League.
But the New Zealand international insists whichever two players don’t make the cut won’t drop their bundle in the A-League.
Only three of Victory’s five visa players are permitted to play in the ACL.
Initial squads are due by Sunday, but Muscat could delay naming his visa players until February 17 — a week before the team’s first game.
Barbarouses said he has been given no indication as to whether or not he will be picked.
“Musky’s going to really think about it and the decision is going to be about which areas the (foreigners) are needed the most,” he said.
“I think there will be a couple of boys disappointed, but I think the main thing is to realise there’s still a lot of football to be played in the league so whoever misses out is really going to be able to focus on that.”
