Reigning Jayco Herald Sun Tour champion & 2011 Japan Cup winner. Debuted on WorldTour in 2012 with Garmin-Sharp.

2 Simon CLARKE VIC 26
2012 Vuelta a Espana stage and king of the mountains jersey winner on Grand Tour debut. Won the best 23 rider classification at the 2007 Tour.

3 Simon GERRANS VIC 32
2012 Two-time winner of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour (2005 & 2006). Only Australian to have won a stage in all three Grand Tours. 2012 Australian champion, Milan - San Remo, Tour Down Under and Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec winner.

4 Matthew GOSS TAS 26
Australia's fastest sprinter, 2011 Milan - San Remo champion (first ever Australian winner), 2011 world championship road race silver medallist, two-time individual stage winner at the Giro d'Italia. Won a stage and the points classification at the 2008 JHST.

5 Jay McCARTHY QLD 20
Joins first ProTour team in 2013 signing with Team Saxo-Tinkoff. Won 2012 Tour de l'Avenir prologue and was part of Australia's under-23 road race team at the world championships.

6 Stuart O'GRADY SA 39
2008 winner. Olympic gold medalist on the track and 2007 Parix-Roubaix winner. Ridden every Tour de France since 1998 and has won two individual stages (1998 & 2004).

Talented youngster who rides for the Bontrager - Livestrong Team. 2011 Tour of Southland winner who has had top ten stage finishes at the Tour of California.

Former track star who won Olympic bronze in the team pursuit in Beijing. Time trial specialist who will be hard to beat in the prologue.

13 Greg HENDERSON NZL 36
Melbourne based veteran who has captured a world scratch race title on the track. Plenty of Grand Tour experience.  Vuelta a Espana stage winner in 2009.

14 Mike NORTHEY NZL 25
Turned pro in 2009. 2012 Tour of Southland stage winner who won also won the opening stage at the Tour du Loir-Et-Cher in France.

15 James ORAM NZL 19
Teenage who won the time trial at the junior world championships in 2011. Races alongside Atkins at Bontrager - Livestrong.

Can’t kick, but can ride. At 19, announced his potential with scratch race gold at the track world cup in Melbourne. Stage winner at the Bay Cycling Classic

Former Jayco AIS squad member who is now based in Britain riding for Rapha Condor. 2009 Goulburn to Sydney winner and 2011 Trofeo Banca Popolare Piva victor in Italy.

26 Graham BRIGGS GBR 29
The most experienced rider on Great Britain’s team. 29-year-old sprinter who won the 2011/12 British criterium series champion.

31 Kristian HOUSE GBR 33
Leader of the Rapha Condor team. Won the King of the Mountains classification at the 2012 Tour of Britain, was 2009 British road race champion and a 2003 JHST stage winner.

32 Richard HANDLEY GBR 22
Stage winner in the 2012 Vuelta a Leon in Spain and finished 3rd at the 2012 U23 GB time trial championships.

33 Aaron BUGGLE IRL 22
Versatile rider who captured the 2009 Irish U23 Tine trial crown.

34 Luke GRIVELL-MELLOR GBR 19
Tall (6ft 5’) and powerful junior cyclocross champion who is turning his attention to the road. His mother rode in the women’s Tour de France.

35 Felix ENGLISH IRL 20
Famous for beating Sir Chris Hoy at the European track championships in 2011. Irish National criterium champion who has twice represented his country at the world road championships.

36 Michael CUMING GBR 22
2012 Strong climber and good time trialist.  His father races professional and his mother and grandfather where top UK time trailers.  U23 British road race champion.

Former BMX rider announced his arrival early in 2012 collecting a win at the Bay Crits in Portarlington, then the national criterium title in Ballarat. Stage winner at the
Tour de Taiwan, Tour de Borneo, North Western Tour, Tour of Gippsland and Tour of Tasmania.

42 Jai CRAWFORD TAS 29
Strong climber who finished fourth on the national road series rankings in 2012 after a consistent season that included a stage win on the Tour of Tasmania.

43 Nathan EARLE TAS 24
2010 Grafton to Inverell winner. Won three stages at the Tour of Wellington in 2011. In 2012 won stages at the Mersey Valley Tour, Tour de Borneo and Tour of Tasmania.

44 Aaron DONNELLY NSW 21
In his third year at Team Jayco-AIS had a six-month European adventure cut short in 2012 after a nasty crash. Won the most aggressive and young rider classification at the 2012 Tour of the Murray River.

45 Pat SHAW VIC 26
Former Australian junior road team rep who won the individual national road series in 2010. A past winner at the Tour of Toowoomba, Tour of Gippsland and Tour of the Murray River.

46 Joseph COOPER NZL 27
Former PureBlack rider signed with Genesys for 2013 and will add experience to the team's general classification stocks. Tour of New Caledonia winner in 2010 and 2011.

51 Michael CUPITT ACT 30
Former triathlete returned to Australia after five years competing in the USA to join Team Budget Forklifts in 2011. A second place in the Grafton - Inverell indicates his potential.

52 Sam HORGAN NZL 25
2009 New Zealand U23 road race and time trial champion had a breakthrough season in 2012 winning the time trial at the Oceania championships, and overall GC at the Tour of Canterbury and Taupo-Napier Classic in New Zealand.

53 Marc WILLIAMS ACT 28
Versatile rider with great acceleration. Former triathlete who overcame a horrific training accident, returning to cycling in 2012 with some top performances fourth in the GC at the Mersey Valley Tour.

Moved to Budget Forklifts for the 2013 season. 2009 Oceania time trial champion and Australian Under 23 representative.

Bendigo-based rider who will look to steal a win in his hometown. Spent two years riding in North America before joining the team in 2012.

61 Darren LAPTHORNE VIC 29
Turned pro in 2006 and won the 2007 national road race championships. Stage winner at the Tour de Korea, Tour of Gippsland and overall winner of the De Bortoli Tour in 2007.

62 Will WALKER VIC 27
Returned to cycling in 2012 after overcoming a cardiac arrhythmia. Under 23 road race silver at the 2005 world championships. While overcoming his illness coached the Malaysian Commonwealth Games team and was a development officer for GreenEdge.

63 Bernard SULZBERGER TAS 28
Versatile Tasmanian who won the 2008 Australian national criterium champion and 2009 Tour of Tasmania.

64 Robbie HUCKER VIC 22
Current Australian Under 23 mountain bike champion, who transferred to Drapac in August 2012 to concentrate on the road.

65 Rhys POLLOCK NSW 32
Former Melbourne-Warrnambool victor who took a surprise win in the opening stage of the 2011 JHST and wore the leaders jersey for two days. Won the Tour of Taiwan in 2012.

66 Tom PALMER NSW 22
Former world junior kilometre time trial champion. Highly rated sprinter who ended 2012 with win at Tour de Okinawa

Horsham rider who grabbed a podium finish in the national road series in 2012 for Budget Forklifts.  2012 winner of Tour of Toowoomba and North Western Tour, and finished runner-up in the Tour of Tasmania.

103 Luke DAVISON NSW 21
2008 Australian junior track cyclist of the year. Finished sixth at the 2011 Melbourne - Warrnambool and in 2012 came fourth in the U23 time trial at the Australian national championships.

104 Alex EDMONDSON  SA 18
London Olympian who won a world junior champion on the track at in the madison in 2011. Sister Annette won Olympic bronze in the omnium. 

105 Sam WITMITZ VIC 27
Victorian all-rounder who brings experience to SASI Cycling after stints in Asia and North America.

106 Andrew ROE SA 25
Brother Tim rides with Cadel Evans at BMC. Will be riding in support of Edmonson.

Young Dutch rider who won the 2012 Tour de la Province de Namur in Belgium.

New Zealand rider based in Australia last couple of years. Finished 3rd in the U23 New Zealand championship in 2010.

New to the sport of cycling, rode his first ever Tour at the tour of Murray in 2012 and successfully lead out a teammate for a stage win.

115 Sean WHITFIELD ACT 17 
One of the youngest in the Tour but will be one of the biggest. This tall and solid rider will learn a lot from the likes of Gerrans and O’Grady.

One of New Zealand’s most decorated cyclists and one of the world’s strongest lead out men.  Twice finished second in stages of the Tour de France.

Pint-sized criterium specialist was a member of the Australian team at the 2009 junior road race championships.

123 Calvin WATSON VIC 19
Australian junior road race team member at the world championships in 2010.  Third in the Under 23 national road title in 2012.

Rode for HTC at the US Pro Cycling Challenge in 2011. Australian Mountain bike representative who finished 12th overall in the 2011 Tour.

National level middle distance runner who switched to cycling in 2010.

133 Joel STEARNES TAS 31 
Entering his fifth season in the national road series in 2013. Finished 16th overall at the 2010 Melbourne to Warrnambool.

134 Jack MATTHEWS TAS 19
Former school swimming champion who has made the switch to cycling. Father competing as an international triathlete.

135 Jake McMAHON TAS 18
Made his debut on the national road series in 2012 after finish school. 2012 Burnie Wheel winner.

Discovered via the national talented identification program.      Fourth at the 2011 Australia junior national road race championships.
