The World Test Championship Final is upon us, with Australia and India to battle it out for the title of the best Test cricket team in the world.
It’s Test cricket’s version of a World Cup Final, to be held on neutral territory at The Oval in London.
Australia and India qualified for the final after finishing first and second in the WTC standings over a two-year cycle that started in 2021.
India lost the first WTC Final to New Zealand in 2021 and will be out for redemption.
Australia goes in as the slight favourite to win the WTC mace trophy.
But David Warner is under pressure to score runs at the top of the order, while Scott Boland has been picked over Michael Neser as Josh Hazlewood recovers from injury.
How to watch the WTC Final
The match will be broadcast on Channel 7 and live streamed on 7plus.
For those watching on TV, it could require some channel flicking between Channel 7 and secondary channels 7two and 7Mate.

What times does it start?
The WTC Final gets underway at 7.30pm AEST on Wednesday night following a half-hour preview show at 7pm.
The same schedule will continue through to Sunday, if the match lasts the full five days.
Who is on the commentary team?

Australian cricket greats Justin Langer, Ricky Ponting and Matthew Hayden will front Seven’s coverage from The Oval.
James Brayshaw will also be part of the commentary team, leaving his AFL commitments for Channel 7 to call the WTC Final.
Indian legend Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Dinesh Karthik will also be part of the commentary team, along with Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakarra and with commentators Harsha Bhogle and Alison Mitchell.
