Alyssa Healy and Mitchell Starc drop $25 million on new estate
Australian cricket couple Alyssa Healy and Mitchell Starc have reportedly bought a new $25 million love nest with plenty of room for a cricket pitch.
Australian cricket couple Alyssa Healy and Mitchell Starc are reportedly in the process of buying a new $25 million love nest in northwest Sydney’s Terrey Hills.
According to The Australian Financial Review, the pair are set to become the new owners of luxury estate Charlotte Park, on Mona Vale Road.
The estate, which features a Georgian-style residence with views across Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, also has a world-class equestrian facility, an in-ground trampoline, bespoke American-style barn, wine cellar, garaging for 13 cars, a pool, cabana, tennis court and kitchen garden with chicken coop, all on 1.8 hectares.
While there’s no cricket nets, there’s definitely room for what would be an practical addition for Healy, a star batter and wicketkeeper in the Australian women’s team and Starc, a feted pace bowler in the Australian men’s team.
According to architectural design and construction practice Cadence and Co, which built the residence, “Charlotte Park sits on a rolling hillside looking across a vast native forest to the lights of Sydney beyond. The setting is reminiscent of the landscape of Napa Valley in California, with its majestic views of the surrounding countryside.”
The couple, who married in 2016, have registered their interest in Charlotte Park via a caveat on the estate, according to The Australian Financial Review.
Agent Shayne Hutton of Sydney Country Living has declined to comment on the sale, but the price tag is reportedly close to the $25 million asking price.
Selling the home are Darren and Simone Mills, parents of Sydney Swans footballer Callum Mills.
