Full Commonwealth Games schedule: How to watch the action in Birmingham

The Commonwealth Games are about to get underway so here’s how to watch all the action from Australia, as well as a full event schedule.

The 2022 Commonwealth Games are almost here and fans Down Under chasing their fix of the action will need to prepare for some sleep-deprived nights.

The time difference isn’t kind to Australia, with each day’s events usually taking place between 7pm-7am AEST.

Australian sports lovers can catch all the action on live free-to-air TV with Channel 7 and 7Mate, while the 7 Plus app will also offer up to 30 live and replay channels to ensure you don’t miss a moment.

The opening ceremony will kick off at 8pm local time on Thursday July 28 (for Aussie fans, that’s 5am AEST on Friday July 29). The closing ceremony will bring things to an end on August 8 in Birmingham — or the early hours of August 9 Down Under.
