The high-flying forward was drafted at pick No.46 - the Demons first on Friday night - out of Footscray’s VFL side.

Hannan was a part of the Bulldogs’ premiership team this season, kicking one goal, but will be best remembered for a pair of highlight-reel marks earlier in the season.
The 22-year-old started 2016 in style with a Gary Moorcroft-style mark in Round 1 against the Northern Blues at Whitten Oval.
Hannan played 14 games on the year, kicking 19 goals.
He followed it up in Round 18 with another speccie against Williamstown in Round 18.
Hannan could well find himself in the Demons Round 1 line-up with his nose for goal and play-making ability.
VFL premiers Footscray had two players taken in the draft with Ben Long drafted by St Kilda at pick No.25.
Melbourne only had two picks on Friday night, selecting Oakleigh Chargers forward Dion Johnstone with pick No.64.
