Tim Tszyu will make boxing history when he headlines Amazon Prime’s first non pay-per-view event with confirmation the Aussie will face unbeaten IBF Super Welterweight World Champion Bakhram Murtazaliev.

Tszyu’s promoter No Limit boxing confirmed on Wednesday Tszyu will be returning to the ring to fight Russian Murtazaliev on October 19 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

NOCHE UFC: O’MALLEY V DVALISHVILI | SUN 15 SEP 12PM AEST | Order Now with Main Event on Kayo Sports. Main Event on Kayo Sports and Foxtel is the exclusive home of UFC Pay-Per-View.

The world title fight has the potential to reach up to 160 million viewers in the United States on the streaming service giant.

The action will be streamed on Foxtel’s Main Event and Kayo Sports in Australia.

The 29-year-old former world champion has been forced to cool his jets after a head wound from his fight against Sebastian Fundora forced him to pull out of a fight against undefeated knockout artist Vergil Ortiz Jr. in August.

Now he is finally getting back in the ring to show he can be the top dog in the super welterweight division.

“At this level, you have to take everyone out and Bakhram is the next guy standing in my way,” said Tszyu.

“The world knows me and they know what I’m about. I’m thankful to my team for putting me in this position to prove why I’m still the man at 154 pounds.

“Bakhram has what I want and I plan on taking it from him in spectacular fashion. It’s time to become a two-time world champion.”

No Limit Boxing boss George Rose said: “There are very few fighters in the world that can endure what Tim went through in his last fight and come out bigger, better and stronger than before.

“Tim Tszyu is that guy. He lives to fight and has a warrior spirit that is completely unbreakable. You won’t want to miss this. He is about to remind everyone why he is the best 154 pounder in the world on October 19.”

Tszyu’s path back to a potential Fundora re-match or a dream showdown with pound-for-pound king Terence Crawford remains mirky at best.

Tszyu had the first loss of his career in March when an accidental elbow from Fundora saw him fight most of the clash with blood streaming down his face. Fundora took Tszyu’s WBO crown in a huge boilover.

Now Tszyu has turned to the IBF belt held by Murtazaliev.

“He’s been on the radar for a while now,” Tszyu told foxsports.com.au.

“He has my respect as a world champion but let’s be real, he has what I want and I plan on taking it from him in spectacular fashion.

“It’s time to become a two-time world champ.”

Murtazaliev has a perfect 22-0 record with 16 wins via knockout.

He claimed the IBF title in an 11th round knockout win over Jack Culcay.

Murtazaliev’s belt is just the first step in Tszyu’s grand plans for the next phase of his career.

Tszyu has told News Corp he hopes to handle business with Murtazaliev before immediately turning his attention towards potential mega-fights.

“I’ll take Bakhram out, man. I’ll take all of them out – they shall fall,” he said.

“That’s the plan, it’s happening – back-to-back.

“I live and breathe this sport, so there’s no resting for me. It’s gonna be an interesting fight, then it’s Fundora, Crawford or Spence in March.”
