You can almost feel it.
You can almost feel it.

IF you can hear the smack from a dozen rows back over a screaming crowd, you know a kick has hit its mark.

Japanese MMA star Koichi Ishizuka found out what a brutal soccer kick tastes like in his match against veteran Hiroto Uesako at DEEP Cage Impact 2017 in Tokyo this morning (AEST).

The featherweight gun attempted to block a take-down attempt as his opponent tried to bring the fight to the floor but butchered his timing and fell to his knees.

Without a second’s notice, Uesako went in for the kill.

The 30-year-old snapped his leg forward in a brutal kick, turning his foe into a ragdoll as he fell to the ground.

MCGREGOR’S DAD HITS BACK AT CONTROVERSY

Conor McGregor’s father has hit out at accusations claiming his son is racist after a storm of controversy encapsulated the 29-year-old’s four-day media tour to promote his megafight with Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor told Mayweather to dance for him before asking the 40-year-old’s daughter to “sing fo him”.

Floyd hit back immediately, blasting his opponent for being racist.

“He totally disrespected my daughter, he disrespected the mother of my daughter, he disrespected black women and he called black people monkeys,” Mayweather told reporters per CBS Sports.

“What I want to say is this: I’m proud to be a black man. I’m proud to be an American, and I love everybody. And I have a diverse team.

“You can’t do that. Conor McGregor, you cannot disrespect black women, you can’t disrespect black people — period. We’ve been through a lot.”

McGregor’s dad bit back at the controversy, claiming the fight had nothing to do with race.

“Conor McGregor is not racist,” Tony McGregor said in an interview with MMAFighting.com.

“This fight is not about race, this fight is about skill and technique. In fact, I don’t think any fight is ever about race. The colour of skin is immaterial. It’s the victory that Conor is looking for. It’s imperative, that’s the only thing I’d say in that.”
