Adult film actress Rebecca Bryggman was brutalised in her professional MMA debut as she failed to last beyond the first round.

Adult film actress Rebecca Bryggman was given a brutal welcome to the fight game as she suffered a first-round loss at Bellator 231 in her professional MMA debut.

Bryggman, whose screen name is Orion Starr, was coming off the back of two wins as an amateur in the Triton Fights promotion but found the step up to the pros too tough to handle and was overpowered by Elise Reed.

Reed, who was also making her professional debut, pinned Bryggman up against the cage late in the opening round and unleashed a flurry of punches off both wings. Bryggman tried to get her hands up but was helpless to prevent the powerful blows from knocking her around as her face copped a beating.

With 13 seconds left in the round the referee jumped in and stopped the fight to save Bryggman from suffering any further damage.

The next two fights on the preliminary card both saw unanimous points decision wins before Dalton Rosta ended Claude Wilcox’s day with some brutal ground and pound.

Rosta started their fight with a body slam and it was clear he wanted to take the fight to the ground every chance he got. He secured top position and unleashed on Wilcox’s head to secure a TKO win shortly before the end of the second round.

Steve Mowry and Gokhan Saricam were next into the cage but the Turkish fighter’s plans went awry when Mowry submitted him early in the second round, before Jessy Miele defeated Talita Nogueira via split decision.
