‘Embarrassing’ Logan Paul-Dillon Danis fight ends in disqualification farce
Logan Paul’s boxing fight descended into total farce, decided by disqualification as fans tore shreds off the “embarrassing” display.
Logan Paul has defeated Dillon Danis in the Misfits boxing fight that descended into utterly farcical scenes as Danis was disqualified for a performance that will ruin his reputation.
Technically it was a professional bout but it was nothing of the sort, with Paul taking the fight seriously and throwing punches while Danis danced around the ring with his hands by his side as he tried to avoid being knocked out.

Paul was clearly the better fighter and unleashed a series of combination shots in the second round in the best display of boxing in the fight.
At one stage Danis even lay on his back, making a complete mockery of the contest.
Ariel Helwani said in commentary on DAZN: “He is trying to have moments he can regurgitate online but he isn’t winning an ounce of this fight.
“It’s impossible to be impressed. He’s done nothing.
“This could get ugly here.”
Danis was constantly chirping at Paul in the ring and illegally tried to take Paul down and tackle him in the fifth and six rounds as the MMA fighter broke the rules of boxing and was docked a point.
With the fight fizzling out, Paul then responded in kind by tackling Danis to the canvas before tensions boiled over and security for both fighters jumped into the ring and began to fight each other.
In the main event fight in Manchester, Tommy Fury narrowly beat YouTuber KSI via a controversial majority decision.
‘Embarrassing’ Danis slammed
Fans have absolutely torched Dillon Danis for his antics during the fight, with calls for spectators to be given their money back.
TalkSports’ Michael Benson wrote on X: “Total, one-sided beatdown ending in an embarrassing brawl. Danis talked one of the biggest games in the recent history of fight sports, but delivered nothing in the fight itself. Pathetic.”
MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin said: “Dillon Danis trolled everybody by pretending he could fight because this is an embarrassment.”
MMA reporter Aaron Bronster said: “Danis got this fight because he’s great at being a troll, he quadrupled his following because he’s great at being a troll, he got sued because he’s great at being a troll, he showed up and made this a terrible match because he’s great at being a troll. Everyone got trolled.”
10.15am - Fury claims controversial win
Tommy Fury has been awarded the victory via majority decision (57-57, 57-56 x 2) despite commentators believing KSI deserved to win the fight.
Jonathan Coachman said: “I am shocked. I am absolutely shocked. Logan Paul can’t believe it. Hell, KSI is dumbfounded that Fury was deducted a point and somehow still won enough rounds to get the majority decision. I just don’t agree with it.”
Ariel Helwani said: “To me this is a moral victory for KSI and a moral loss for Tommy Fury.”
KSI said: “It’s a robbery. How many jabs did he land? You got hardly any shots off. You weren’t landing!”
“I understand. I’m the YouTuber, you’re the boxer. You have to win. It’s all good.”
The two fighters bickered in the ring during the post-fight interviews, with Fury calling KSI a “sore loser” for his rant.
Fury vs KSI round-by-round updates
Round 1: KSI has come out firing and is trying to turn the fight into a brawl without putting his hands up in defence.
He ran at Fury and managed to land a strong right hand and might have won the first round.
Round 2: Fury has been docked a point for punching to the back of KSI’s head. It could make a difference in a six-round fight.
Round 3: Fury is trying to tire KSI out by holding and clinching, but it could be playing into KSI’s after a fairly even round.
“I’d love to see Tommy Fury box,” Ariel Helwani said in commentary.
Round 4: Another close round, Fury might have done enough to level the rounds 2-2.
Round 5: KSI might have won that round, but it was close.
There’s an awful of lot of bear hugging and not a lot of boxing happening.
Helwani said: “I don’t mean to be rude but this is fairly unwatchable when you’re clinching every two seconds.”
Round 6: Another close round. KSI landed one last heavy punch towards the end. They might have won three rounds each.
Paul vs Danis round-by-round updates
Round 1: Logan Paul immediately looks like the better fighter and landed some shots, while Danis is walking towards Paul but struggling to land anything of substance.
Danis is getting very chirpy and is constantly talking to Paul in the ring.
Ariel Helwani said on DAZN: “It is getting dirty very early on.”
Round 2: Paul is dominating and unleashed with a series of heavy combinations on Danis, who is little more than a punching bag.
Round 3: Danis is offering up very little and is losing the crowd by jokingly throwing a backward punch and lying on the canvas, trying to mimic when UFC star Nick Diaz taunted Anderson Silva in a fight.
Round 4: Danis finally landed a punch but a fairly uneventful round. Paul will want to land a knockout.
Round 5: Danis is chirping away but he’s ruining his reputation by refusing to throw punches in fear of being knocked out. He only landed nine punches in five rounds
Round 6: This has turned into a farce. Danis illegally tackled Paul and tried to get him in a UFC-style guillotine. He was warned by the referee and docked a point as security entered the ring.
The fight continued but Paul eventually did the same as the two fighters tackled each other before security jumped into the ring and it became an all-out brawl.
8.48am - American anthem booed
The raucous crowd in London booed the American national anthem, creating an unusual atmosphere before the Paul vs Danis fight given both fighters are American.
8.30am - Logan Paul ‘forgives’ Dillon
Danis has repeatedly targeted Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal in an ugly social media smear campaign.
But Paul had a surprising response when asked pre-fight about how he feels about his opponent’s antics.
“I reached a bit of a zen moment last night because he has been so personal and how do you not go in there wanting to murder this human being,” Paul told DAZN.
“Answer is, I forgive him. I forgive Dillon.
“I’m going to do my job, stay focused, do what I have to do. I know what I’m good at. I know my skills, I know how I’m going to beat him.
“I’m not going to be aggressive and fight with ego. I’m going to fight with skill and precision.”
Paul also showed off a nasty cut he suffered when Danis threw a microphone at him during a heated press conference and left his face bleeding.
Commentator Ariel Helwani said on DAZN: “The cut is a big thing. The guy got nailed in the head. All the pressure is on Logan Paul.”
8.15am - 17-second KO stuns undercard
There’s been a wild early knockout on the undercard. Ed Matthews came out on the attack against Swarmz and needed just 17 seconds to knock him out and win the fight.
