Paul Gallen vs Justin Hodges and Ben Hannant ultimate guide: Start time, how to stream
A fuming Justin Hodges grabbed Paul Gallen by the throat in wild scenes at their weigh-in ahead of a unique boxing event on Thursday.
Tensions nearly boiled over at the weigh-in for the ‘Origin Rumble’ when Justin Hodges put his hand around Paul Gallen’s neck ahead of their boxing clash on Thursday night.
Hodges clearly wasn’t backing down a day after Gallen told him to “make sure you kiss your kids goodnight … you might not wake up” and the pair nearly came to blows at the pre-fight press conference.

Gallen is fighting both Hodges and Ben Hannant on the same evening in Brisbane, in what could be the last time he steps inside the boxing ring.
Even with the added difficulty, the Cronulla Sharks legend will go in as the heavy favourite to defeat the two Queensland rugby league greats.
Gallen had threatened to pull out of the unique boxing event over a lack of detail over the fight conditions.
He will have an hour break between the two fights but he still doesn’t know who out of Hodges or Hannant he will face first — that will be decided by a coin toss on the night.
Gallen weighed in at 102.54kg on Wednesday, while Hodges tipped the scales at 103.9kg and Hannant at 107.56kg.
Gallen and Hannant took part in a relatively tame face-off before it was Hodges’ turn.
In wild scenes, the Broncos legend walked straight towards Gallen, pressed his forehead against Gallen’s before putting his hand around his opponent’s throat.
Surprisingly, Gallen was relatively calm and barely reacted to the antics.
The 41-year-old gave out one last sledge, declaring he was surprised by the support he had received from Queenslanders wanting him to knock Hodges out.
“It’s been crazy,” Gallen said.
“I can’t believe the amount of people that want me to bash Justin Hodges.”
Gallen promised to make quick work of Hodges and Hannant.
“Come tomorrow night, these guys aren’t going to handle what’s coming, I can promise you that,” Gallen said.
“Tune in. It’s going to be fast, it’s going to be furious. It’s going to be the most fun I’ve had with my pants on.”
Also appearing on the card is heavyweight Joe Goodall in his first fight since losing to Justis Huni.
