News Corp reports any rival promoters who want to broadcast on Foxtel’s platforms would need the approval of No Limit.

Run by brothers Matt, George and Trent Rose, No Limit has built up a stable of boxers including Tim and Nikita Tszyu, Olympic medallist Harry Garside, Australian light-heavyweight champion Paulo Aokuso, and world title contenders Liam Wilson and Sam Goodman.

Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany said: “There is no doubt we are in a renaissance of boxing right now, with great fighters, big names and major bouts.

“The opportunity to partner with No Limit Boxing exclusively will take it to the next level after a record-breaking year for Main Event.

“We have backed boxing in Australia for more than 25 years, growing the sport through our pay-per-view platform which has showcased all the unmissable fights.

“That’s why we’re huge supporters of No Limit — who are first-class promoters dedicated to nurturing future champions to compete on the world stage.”

George Rose said: “This partnership makes us an unstoppable force and brings the best of the best together. Boxing is back in the spotlight where it belongs and 2023 promises to be bigger than ever.

“Not only do we have Tim Tszyu fighting for the undisputed world-title but Liam Wilson is expected to secure a world title fight in February. We also have an exciting triple-header in March featuring Nikita Tszyu, Harry Garside and Paulo Aokuso.”

Nikita Tszyu said the deal reinforced that No Limit puts on the best boxing cards in Australia.

“They’ve got the highest reach to the public,” he told news.com.au.

“It’s a great feeling to be part of that because you’ve got the highest exposure into the Australian community and that helps bring it to the world level as well.

“I’ve always liked the Rose boys. Even when we were looking for which promotion I was going to go with at the start of my career. I always knew it going to be the Rose boys.

“The way they treated my brother. I know how they conduct business and they do the best jobs.

“They create the greatest events in boxing in Australia. It’s all entertainment. They’re very professional and it’s great to be part of.”

Tim Tszyu is preparing for his super welterweight world title fight against Jermell Charlo in Las Vegas on January 29, while No Limit is planning a local Australia card in March.
