Mike Tyson is taking his fight with Jake Paul very seriously, judging by some fierce training clips the boxing great has posted.

Mike Tyson posts terrifying training clip

He might be 57 years old, but “Iron” Mike Tyson appears to be taking his upcoming fight with Jake Paul very seriously.

Boxing fans reacted with shock when Paul, who is 30 years younger than Tyson, announced he would take on the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in his next bout.

BOXING: Tszyu v Thurman live from Las Vegas | WED 13 MAR 11AM AEDT | Order Now with Main Event on Kayo Sports.

Most feel the former YouTube star is on a hiding to nothing as if he beats Tyson, he simply did what he should considering the age gap, and if he loses all his bravado will fade away.

Tyson is already on the front foot, releasing a series of training clips on X to his 5.9 million followers that have impressed fans of the sport.

In the first clip, posted on March 14, Tyson is seen in a 10 second video with the caption: “It’s Day 1 … the fun has just begun.”

Tyson also makes that proclamation to the camera before we see him landing a series of heavy blows against a training partner.

He looks quick on his feet and in remarkable shape considering his advancing years.

The youngest heavyweight world champion in history at the age of 20, Tyson has a 50-6 record in the ring and has subsequently released two more training videos to the social media platform.

The first is titled “Mitts flyin”, which you can see in the video player above.

It starts with Tyson stating ominously: “Day two, I’m getting ready for you,” in an apparent message to Paul.

We then see a series of punches with Tyson advancing forward in trademark style.

The third video is perhaps the most fearsome, with Tyson seen throwing a heavy medicine ball before unloading more heavy punches and combinations and eventually letting out a guttural scream.

“Day three,” Tyson says. “You still wanna f**k with me?”

Details of the fight are still unclear, but it is understood the fighters won’t be wearing headgear as was once suggested and will take place at the Dallas Cowboys’ 105,000-seat AT&T Stadium.

It is also not a pay-per-view event, being broadcast free to Netflix subscribers in another move into sport for the streaming giant.

The man known as “the baddest man on the planet” certainly looks impressive in the videos, which have all garnered thousands of comments, most with a consistent theme.

In reply to his question above, one fan replied: “No thanks! Have a great day Sir!”

“Maaaan hell no!” wrote another.

“Never, I mean never F with a person who looks at you like this! Ain’t going to end well!” wrote a third with a still shot of Tyson’s post-training face.

Tyson last had an exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr in 2020, but his last professional fight was way back in 2005, a defeat to Kevin McBride.

But the man who claimed 44 of his 50 career wins via knockout has fans just about all saying the same thing about Paul, who has a 9-1 record since moving into the ring.

“Better have an ambulance ready for Jake Paul,” was one reply.

“Mike Tyson still looks like the baddest man on earth,” wrote another.

“I really feel bad for Jake Paul, but then again, this is your time to shine at least one last time Iron Mike!!” added a third.

And we’ll finish with another simple message from an X user.

“Damn — RIP Jake.”
