She also thanked fans for their support on Instagram, where she has over 400,000 followers.
“I woke up to an overwhelming amount of love and support from all of you,” Thomas wrote with a heart emoji added to the end of the message.
“I can’t thank you guys enough or begin to express how grateful I am. I love you all — thank you for your kind words.”
Thomas is currently a student at the University of Alabama.
Paul’s unanimous decision victory over Tyson failed to capture the imaginations of many of the fans tuned in worldwide.
But plenty enjoyed the presence of Sydney, The Sun reports.
One fan described her as the “real winner” of the event.
A second asked: “So we’re all on the Sydney Thomas hype train right??”
A third posted: “the best part of this fight is sydney thomas, the ring girl. whew.”
A fourth wrote: “Mad respect to the blonde lady for her commitment to maintaining the vacant smile even while the dude is shouting about Katie Taylor cheating with her allegedly giant head.”
In addition to Sydney - Virginia Sanhouse, Lexi Williams, Delia Sylvain and Raphaela Milagres also worked as ring girls at the event.
Asked about not going for the knockout blow, Paul said in his press conference: “There was a point where I was like he is not really engaging back.
“So I don’t know if he is tired. I can just tell his age was showing a little bit.
“I just have so much respect for him and that war thing between us after he slapped me, I wanted to be aggressive, take him down and knock him out.
“But that kind of went away as the rounds went on.
“I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.”
