Tip: Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson

I like Belfort’s quick hands but Jones has the size and physical strength to retain his title. Belfort is a natural middleweight and if this isn’t finished early then Jones will grind him down, physically impose himself and retain his title. It will be over by the third.

This is an interesting one. Benavidez is the physically stronger fighter but Johnson the more technically gifted of the two. I think Johnson is probably quicker, too, which has him favorite for mine. Johnson inside three rounds.

Tip: Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson

It’s going to be a massive weekend with UFC 152 featuring what I think will be an awesome light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones vs Vitor Belfort.

Jones has one of the most lethal elbows in the UFC while Belfort is a proven champ who knows what it takes to take hold of a UFC World Championship belt. It’s a really close call, however I think I’m going with Jones to win in a fight that will go the distance.

I’m also really keen to see the little guys go at it for the first flyweight title. I think Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson will prevail against Joseph Benavidez.
