It’s time to catch your breath in SuperCoach NBL.

There are no NBL matches this weekend due to the league’s annual FIBA Break, with round 10 kicking off on Thursday, November 28.

But many coaches won’t wait to grab one of the biggest bargains of the year.

NBL and SuperCoach superstar Bryce Cotton returned from a rib injury last round and resumed his matchwinning ways, logging 71 points – the second-most of the weekend.

Despite that score he lost another $18,600 in value and is now priced at $323,700 – more than $120,000 under his starting price. That’s just too good to pass up for the best player in the game.

Scroll down to see how to get Cotton, and the other moves you can make to get the best score in round 10.

ON THE DOUBLE

The schedule is the key to SuperCoach NBL success. Targeting players from teams that play twice in a round will give you twice as many opportunities to score points.

There are four teams on the double in round 10 – Perth Wildcats, Sydney Kings, NZ Breakers and Illawarra Hawks.

Perth is about to play the fourth of its stretch of five straight double game rounds, while the Breakers are about to play four doubles in a row – if you don’t have Parker Jackson-Cartwright, he’s another priority target. The Kings and Hawks are more outliers, playing a one-off double before going back to single-game rounds. Prioritise Breakers and Wildcats with your trades, but a one-week rental of a player like Xavier Cooks could pay off big time.

The Brisbane Bullets are on a single this week but from round 11 they play doubles every week until round 18. If you are picking on form – and want to make some quick cash – you can’t go past Bullets guard James Batemon, who scored a staggering 83 points last round and is projected by SuperCoach Plus to increase in value by a whopping $53,000 after his next game.

Brisbane’s schedule makes finding players to trade out tricky, but two Wildcats on the chopping block (despite their schedule) are Kristian Doolittle, who was injured in Perth’s second game last round, and Elijah Pepper, who scored just 14 points in the Wildcats’ double and lost money – not what we want from a cash cow!

CAPTAIN CALL

It’s a toss of the coin between the two biggest scorers in SuperCoach NBL, who are both on a double game round – Bryce Cotton and Parker Jackson-Cartwright. If it helps, the Wildcats faces the Bullets (seventh on the ladder) in the first game of their double and the Breakers play Illawarra (third) before Perth and NZ face off in the final game of the round – a head-to-head captaincy shootout!

If you want to be different Xavier Cooks has the highest projected score of the round from SuperCoach Plus – 79 points. The Kings play Cairns (last on the table) and Melbourne United (first) in their double game round.
