Report: Odom suffering memory loss, ‘can barely walk on his own’
IT’S been more that two months since Lamar Odom was first hospitalised, and although he’s improving, his road to full health will be a long one.
IT’S been more than two months since former NBA star Lamar Odom was first hospitalised in Nevada. And as updates and reports on his condition continue to come in, one thing is clear: Odom will apparently be recovering from this harrowing incident for a long time.
According to a report this week from Entertainment Tonight, Odom is still in serious condition as he recovers in a Los Angeles hospital:
“He’s not doing great,” the source says. “His speech is still slurred and he can barely walk on his own yet. He forgets a lot of people’s names — sometimes even his own. He definitely has some memory loss.”
The report also states that the Kardashian family continues to visit Odom at the hospital. In November, Khloe Kardashian said that Odom is “off all machines that help his organs,” but that he hadn’t asked why he was in the hospital and that the family had not volunteered that information.
Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in October. According to early reports, authorities suspect that he may have overdosed on a controlled substance.
