Victor Wembanyama showed signs of just how insanely dominant he can be in the best outing of his young NBA career on Friday.

The 19-year-old French sensation, who entered the league with more hype than any player since LeBron James, displayed every weapon in his arsenaln the San Antonio Spurs’ 132-121 win over the Phoenix Suns.

After he helped the Spurs pull off a stunning last-second win over the Suns on Wednesday, the first overall pick in the draft flexed his skinny muscles on Friday.

The Spurs led from start to finish to capture the 11-point victory with Wembanyama the dominant force as he recorded a career high 38 points along with pulling down 10 rebounds.

Sixers journalist Kye Neubeck wrote: “He is absolutely destroying these dudes my god.”

Another fan wrote: “Lmao this motherf***er isn’t real.”

A third added: “Wemby is not from planet earth.”

But it was several plays from the teen sensation that sent the basketball world wild as he showed just how much of an unstoppable force he can be.

In the third quarter he utilised his freakishly tall frame to tear the Suns apart underneath the rim.

After a quick pass to Malaki Branham, the seven-foot four youngster sprinted into the paint where he caught a pass only he could haul in before laying it in.

The absurdity went a step further only moments later when he posted up deep inside the paint and caught a pass that looked headed for the 10th row.

As soon as he hauled it in, he instantly jumped back up and delivered a smooth finger roll that extended the Spurs’ lead back out to 22-points.

The ridiculous nature of the play left his own teammates in disbelief.

But it was in the fourth quarter when he went to the next level as the Suns came roaring back into the contest.

With the margin cut down to single digits, Wembanyama took over on the offensive end and put the Suns away.

The win takes the Spurs to 3-2 in the early stages of the season, placing them in eighth spot in the Western Conference standings.

While many predicted the team would be fun throughout the 2023/24 season, nobody had them down as winning two straight against the Suns.

The Suns are widely tipped to make a deep playoff push behind superstar Kevin Durant, but have faltered early.

The second straight loss has them sitting in 11th spot in the Western Conference, they'll look to bounce back when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

Wembanyama and the Spurs will return to action on Tuesday when they go up against the Toronto Raptors.
