Klay Thompson lights it up from downtown to lead Warriors to 23-0
KLAY Thompson hit 10 three-pointers to help the Golden State Warriors continue their NBA record 23-0 start to the season.

Klay Thompson led the way with 39 points — including 10 made three-pointers — as the Warriors picked up the 131-123 win over the Indiana Pacers.
The win puts the Warriors at an NBA record 23-0 start to the season, and is their 27th straight regular season win, dating back to last season.
The winning streak matches LeBron James’ Miami Heat’s 27-game winning streak in the 2012-13 season.
Reigning MVP Stephen Curry had a ‘quiet’ game, finishing with 29 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, while Andrew Bogut posted 14 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks; including a number of impressive alley-oop dunks.
For Indiana, Paul George led the way with 33 points for the home side, while CJ Miles chipped in with 24 points.
The Pacers opened the game with a 13-6 run, with the hopes of jumping out to a big lead early in the game.
Klay Thompson led a Warriors run, nailing thee three-pointers in a three minutes stretch to give the Warriors a 23-21 lead.
The Warriors went on one of their famous runs, led by Stephen Curry, to jump out to a big 44-28 lead at the end of the first period.
The start of the second quarter saw the Warriors go on an 8-2 run, extending their lead even further.
A stretch of buckets from Paul George helped the Pacers cut the deficit to 11 points late in the period, but Klay Thompson found his range, hitting four three-pointers in the final three minutes of the half.
The Warriors’ lead 79-60 heading into the main break, with Klay Thompson posting 29 points on 8-for-10 shooting from beyond the arc.
The third quarter opened with a slew of alley-oop dunks from Australian centre Andrew Bogut, throwing down three in a row to keep the Warriors’ lead in double-digits.
Both teams traded buckers before Klay Thompson continued his hot shooting night, nailing two three-pointers, giving him a total of 10 makes from downtown for the game.

The Pacers opened the fourth quarter with a big run, and even cut the Warriors lead down to single-digits, but Curry’s heroics silenced the Indiana crowd, ultimately leading Golden State to their 23rd win of the season.
Klay Thompson looked to have tweaked his ankle in the final moments of the game, but it’s not believed to be serious.

The Warriors’ 27 regular season game win streak ties the 2012-13 Miami Heat for the second longest streak in NBA history, and is just six games away from the all-time record of 33, held by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers.
This win also puts the Warriors at 13-0 on the road for the season, which is good for the most consecutive road wins to start a season in NBA history, according to ESPN Stats and Info.
