DONALD Sterling needs to learn to stop talking.
Now the disgraced Los Angeles Clippers owner has hit out at NBA legend Magic Johnson for having AIDS.
Speaking with CNN’s Anderson Cooper today, when he finally apologised for the racist rant that earned him an NBA life ban, Sterling said Johnson was a bad example for the children of LA and should be ashamed of himself because of what he did to “get AIDS”.
The 80-year-old launched into a lengthy tirade against the Lakers great, whose photograph with Sterling’s girlfriend V. Stiviano led to his initial racist outburst.
“What has he done? Can you tell me? Big Magic Johnson, what has he done? He’s got AIDS,” Sterling told CNN.
“Did he do any business? Did he help anybody in South LA?
“What kind of guy goes to every city and has sex with every girl and catches AIDS? What kind of guy goes to every city, has sex with every girl, then he goes and catches HIV?
“Is that someone we want to respect and tell our kids about?
“I think he should be ashamed of himself. I think he should go into the background.
“And what does he do for black people? He hasn’t done anything.”

In his first interview since the scandal broke two weeks ago, Sterling said he was “begging for forgiveness” but his apology was branded “pathetic” by the US press.
“If I said anything wrong, I’m sorry,’’ Sterling said. “I’m a good [NBA] member who made a mistake, and I’m apologising and I’m asking for forgiveness.
“Am I entitled to one mistake, am I, after 35 years?’
“When I listen to that tape, I don’t even know how I can say words like that ... I don’t know why the girl had me say those things.”
