Australian Formula One star Daniel Ricciardo looking for ‘true love’

FORMULA One star Daniel Ricciardo turned 25 this week and a reporter asked him what he would like for a present. They got a very strange answer.

FORMULA One star Daniel Ricciardo turned 25 this week and a reporter asked him what he would like for a present.

“True love,” was Ricciardo’s response, according to the F1 Times.

A tweet from the UK publication spurred a flurry of activity from bachelorettes eager for more information.

Ricciardo said his ideal birthday present would be true love. Any ladies out there want his number? #f1

Unfortunately for ladies around the world, it appears Ricciardo’s comment was “tongue in cheek”, according to his management, as he has a long-term partner.

Ricciardo is in a low-profile but long-term relationship with his high school sweetheart Jemma Boskovich.

The couple has been described as “extremely private” and go to great lengths to keep the relationship secret.

They were long-time family friends, with both coming from big Italian families in Western Australia, and Boskovich was Ricciardo’s date at his Year 12 ball at Newman College, in Perth’s western suburbs.

Still, we thought it would be fun to find Ricciardo, the ever-smiling nice guy of the F1 circuit, five potentially well-suited bachelorettes.
