News.com.au’s apology to ex-FIA President Max Mosley.

An article titled “From Shane Warne’s inflatable middle stump to a Yankee’s wife swap: Sport’s weirdest sex scandal” published on 6 to 7 May 2014 made reference to a 2008 article in the News of the World Newspaper concerning Max Mosley, the former President of the FIA, the government body of world motorsport.

Our article repeated a number of the falsities that were contained in the 2008 article including the discredited allegation that Mr Mosley once took part in a “Nazi” sex party. news.com.au unreservedly apologises for the hurt and embarrassment caused to Mr Mosley by the repetition of the false allegations.
