JUST when you thought Rob Gronkowski couldn’t get any more likable, America’s favourite party animal rocked up on late night TV to discuss his Super Bowl win.

The New England Patriots’ cult hero appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and gold-plated his dude persona by revealing he hasn’t slept since the Super Bowl and his need for a new party bus before giving his now-obligatory reading of the erotic fan fiction (‘A Gronking to Remember’) that has been written in his honour.

He also discussed the brawl at the end of the game as New England tried to run the clock down on their own end zone.

“The Gronk” played a significant role in the near-melee, wrestling Seahawks to the ground and taking a couple of swings.

“I got pushed or something, and it was the last game of the year, and I was like, ‘Screw it, I’m throwing some haymakers,’” Gronkowski said.

Gronkowski said he was protecting his quarterback Tom Brady and was taken by surprise by a sudden surge of shoving.

When asked if he had thrown any punches (as footage rolled that suggested he certainly did), a grinning Gronkowski said, “I don’t think I did. Roger, no, I did not”, referring to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Gronkowski said he didn’t want a fine as he had to upgrade his party bus.

The Gronk finished the Super Bowl with six catches for 68 yards and a touchdown and will continue partying until an unconfirmed date.
