Wild Tom Brady Masked Singer theory takes US by storm
Tom Brady stunned the NFL when he retired, came back and then took leave from the sport but his next move is the wildest yet.
Where in the world is Tom Brady?
That’s the question stumping much of the internet after the Buccaneers quarterback stepped away from the team earlier this month.
Though Tampa Bay coach Todd Bowles previously said that Brady was tending to “personal things,” a wild new theory speculating on the 45-year-old’s whereabouts has caught the attention of fans.

Kendall Valenzuela, a fantasy football analyst, suggested in a Twitter video that Brady is off filming “The Masked Singer” for a number of reasons — one being that the show is part of the Fox Network.
And, wouldn’t you know it, the seven-time Super Bowl champ recently inked a monster deal with the company’s Fox Sports sector, where he’ll become the lead NFL analyst whenever he decides to retire for good.

In case “The Masked Singer” isn’t part of your usual TV line-up, the reality series features celebrities concealing their identities in outlandish costumes and masks while taking part in a singing competition.
Valenzuela suggested the secrecy around Brady’s absence from the team could serve as a means to hide that he is filming the show. She also pointed out that Brady’s former teammates, Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown, have previously appeared on “The Masked Singer.”
Bowles said earlier this month that Brady’s departure was planned long before training camp, which tracks with the idea that the quarterback likely knew he would be away filming.
Although some may believe this viral theory, there is no actual proof that Brady has committed to filming the Fox show. Further, Valenzuela did admit in the video that the theory was “just speculation” and “all for fun.”
On Thursday, though, Bowles remained noncommittal about Brady’s return.
“We’ll see,” said Bowles, who added that he’s been in regular contact with Brady during his excused absence. “We’ll talk about it next week. Not concerned about it right now. We’re trying to practice against Tennessee and play a game. I said ‘sometime after Tennessee.’ There’s no definitive date for me. But we’ll check on it, we’ll keep in touch and we’ll find out.”
When Bowles announced that Brady would be away from the team, he said the quarterback would be back after Tampa Bay’s second pre-season game against Tennessee on Saturday.
Bowles said he was confident that Brady would be his starting quarterback when the Buccaneers open the season in Dallas against the Cowboys on Sunday night, September 11.
As of Friday afternoon, Brady has not yet addressed his excused absence.
