He's now won more Super Bowls than every single NFL team and has more titles than Michael Jordan.
Tom Brady has well and truly entered the conversation as one of the greatest athletes ever after dominating in Tampa Bay's 31-9 win against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55.
The victory over a team that lost just twice all season gave Brady his seventh Super Bowl - one more than his old team the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was superb, putting the Chiefs to the sword with a historic first half. Brady completed more than 80 per cent of passes and threw three touchdowns in the first two quarters - something no quarterback had done in Super Bowl history.
Up 21-6 against a man most consider the best current player in the game Pat Mahomes, he controlled proceedings expertly from that point as the Bucs cruised home.
The biggest question mark over Brady's greatness had been how much of his success with the Patriots was down to coach Bill Belichick and the players and system built around him.
But after leaving New England for Tampa and winning it all again - at age 43 - there is no doubt Brady is the greatest player his sport has ever seen and he deserves to be mentioned alongside the likes of Jordan and Muhammad Ali.
Sports columnist Ian O'Connor tweeted: "In the GOAT vs GOAT debate, if you want to say Tom Brady can never surpass Michael Jordan because Brady isn’t on the same planet athletically, that’s a fair argument. And if you want to say Brady has now surpassed MJ on body of work & achievement, that’s a fair argument too."
This is literally like if Michael Jordan won a title with the Wizards.
As Tampa Bay celebrated their historic win, Tom Brady's family made their way on the field to congratulate the seven seven-time champion.
Brady embraced his kids before Gisele gave her husband a passionate kiss.
"I'm so proud of all these guys down here," Brady said.
"Everything we had dealt with all year. We had a rough month in November. We had all the confidence in us. The team had a lot of confidence. We came together at the right time.
"I think we knew this was going to happen, didn't we? We ended up playing our best game of the year.
"This team is world champions forever. You can't take it away from us. "
One last indignity for Mahomes
The Bucs put an exclamation point on one of the great defensive performances in Super Bowl history by intercepting Pat Mahomes on the Chiefs' final drive of the game.
Downs, punt, downs, punt
The celebrations are beginning on the Tampa Bay sidelines as the final quarter trickles to a close.
The Chiefs haven't been able to add to their score and will have America looking back in amazement at how they were held to single digits.
The Bucs are just taking time off the clock and have been happy to punt.
Bucs punt for first time since first quarter
That's how grim it's been for the Chiefs' defence today.
The Bucs drove to Kansas City's 46-yard line and had fourth-and-one but played it safe and sent a punt to the eight-yard line.
Mahomes twists and turns for no points

Pat Mahomes is doing everything he can to give the Chiefs a chance but a leaky offensive line and butter-fingered receivers are letting him down.
The Kansas City quarterback is constantly getting chased out of the pocket by the Bucs' pass-rush but still managing to give his receivers a chance.
This time it was Darrell Williams who let him down, dropping a pass that hit him on the face mask that would have been a touchdown.
Instead the Chiefs turned the ball over on downs and trail by 22 points with 13:32 on the clock.
Bucs score again to take it out of reach
A botched snap stalled another Buccaneers drive but allowed their kicker Ryan Succop to get involved for the first time and he nailed a 52-yard field goal to make it 31-9.
Mahomes picked ... stick a fork in him
It went from bad to worse for Pat Mahomes as a desperate heave down field on third down intended for Tyreek Hill was intercepted by Antoine Winfield.
After being sacked on the preceding play by Shaq Barrett for a six-yard loss, Mahomes tried to pull off something spectacular but was picked off.
This is getting out of hand for the Chiefs
Tampa Bay just scored a statement touchdown to take a stranglehold on this Super Bowl.
Running back Leonard Fournette is giving Tom Brady all the support he needs, taking his total to 64 yards on 10 carries including a 27-yard run that made it 28-9.
Rob Gronkowski has been the other star on offence, catching a 25-yard pass on this drive to take him to six catches and 67 yards.
Four out of the past five Bucs' drives have ended in touchdowns and the other one was turned over on downs at the one-yard line.
