Hersh’s Pizza gives free pizza for NFL disgraced Ray Rice jerseys
A PIZZERIA is giving free pizza to anyone handing in a jersey of disgraced NFL player Ray Rice which will “save on toilet paper”.
A PIZZERIA is so disgusted in the actions of disgraced NFL footballer Ray Rice that it is giving away free pizza in exchange for a jersey bearing his name.
Hersh’s Pizza in Federal Hill, Baltimore, made the offer to fans as Rice was sacked from the Baltimore Ravens and indefinitely suspended after film was published showing him knocking out his wife with a punch in an elevator.

The disgust shown by the pizzeria was evident in its posts on its Facebook page.
“Dear Lovers of Women, Not Hitting Women, Non Violence and Just Generally Being a Good Person,
“Come trade your Ray Rice Ravens Jersey in for a free pizza at Hersh’s. These jerseys will save us money on toilet paper this week.”
Hersh’s Pizza followed it up with this post:
“Suggestions for what to do with all the Ray Rice jerseys we collect, since there are only so many we can use for toilet paper? Let us know! Also, Hersh’s will donate $2.70 to House Of Ruth Maryland, Inc. for each jersey we receive. Eat in only.”

Hersh’s Pizza offer was made after TMZ.com posted a video of Rice, a former Rutgers star, knocking unconscious his then-fiancee with a punch in a lift in Atlantic City.
Rice was originally suspended for two games by the NFL but the outrage forced it to ban him indefinitely.
He was also sacked from the Ravens.
