A scene of absolute madness in the United States is blowing minds around the world after fan pandemonium in the country’s biggest stadium

A college football photo capturing the madness that was Michigan’s monster win on Sunday morning is blowing minds.

Coach Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan took down rivals Ohio State 42-27, triggering a crowd rush that saw the Michigan Stadium field completely covered by euphoric fans.

An official crowd is yet to be announced but there is an expectation that the crowd number will be above 110,000 after it was announced earlier this week that the biggest stadium in the United States had been sold out.

The stadium, known as “The Big House”, has a capacity for 115,000.

It was an emotional release years in the making for the University of Michigan which snapped an eight-game losing streak to move through to the conference championship game for the first time.

The Wolverines now have a chance to win a Big Ten title for the first time since 2004 and a national championship for the first time since 1997, the Associated Press reports.

Minutes after the Wolverines first win over Ohio since 2011, a delirious crowd stormed the field.

The team’s big win has been completely overshadowed by the insane spectacle in Ann Arbor.

“Watching the snow fall and the crowd rush onto the field was truly a surreal moment,” Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara said.
