NBA goes nuts as Michael Jordan’s son seen on a date with Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen have dominated NBA headlines for decades, but no one would have seen this coming.

A new pairing of Jordan and Pippen is here.

Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, was seen dining with Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen on Sunday, photos from TMZ show. It’s the first time the alleged couple was seen together, The New York Post reported.

The duo was found dining at the Miami Japanese restaurant Zuma.

The Pippens divorced in 2021 after 14 years of marriage. The age gap between the pair is 17 years: Jordan is 31 and Larsa is 48.

Larsa’s dating life has been tabloid fodder since the split including when she began dating married NBA player Malik Beasley last year.

She hit out at Pippen earlier this year and said she was “traumatised” by the divorce.

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were long-time teammates with the Chicago Bulls, winning six NBA championships together in the 1990s.

The two haven’t been on the best of terms recently after Pippen took offence to how he was portrayed in the “Last Dance” documentary about Jordan’s life and career.

The Last Dance revealed that the on-court dynamic duo were far from best friends off the court.

In an interview earlier this year, Pippen revealed everything wasn’t so rosy.

“Michael was bigger than the game, you know. Even my initial arrival to Chicago he was a big, iconic figure for the NBA. So, we never really had that off -the-court relationship,” Pippen told GQ in a recent interview.

“Our relationship between the lines was impeccable. We pushed each other to be great. We trained with each other to be the best. So, everything we did, from a basketball standpoint, it was a high level of respect there that we knew we could be the best.”

Former Jordan teammate Charles Oakley said he believed the pair’s relationship “is over”, telling the Bill Simmons Podcast “It wasn’t great from the get-go”.

Tough to believe that it’d be getting any friendlier now.
