LeBron James makes a splash in the Philippines

EVEN when he is on show as Nike’s ambassador, LeBron James simply cannot resist the chance to throw down serious heat on the court.

LEBRON James is arguably the best basketballer gracing the NBA.

So what happens when you put him on court during an exhibition match against amateur players?

One can only imagine the degree of possible carnage.

The King was in the Philippines this week to promote Nike’s Rise program, an initiative used to develop grassroots players from around the globe by exposing them to the latest training technologies and coaching.

After giving a rather inspirational speech to the crowd, LeBron sat back and let the players showcase their skills in a scheduled exhibition match at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.

However, the two-time NBA champion simply could not resist the opportunity to showcase some skills of his own, and quickly turned the match into another episode of the LeBron show.

And when a packed Manila crowd is begging for more, who could blame LBJ for throwing down a few more of his signature dunks?

Ok LeBron, we get it, you can dunk.
