The Clippers and Blazers were tied at 87 with a second left when Paul’s floater rimmed out. Jordan grabbed the rebound, but did not shoot even though there appeared to be enough time to at least attempt a tip-in for the victory. It’s impossible to tell, though, because the game clock mysteriously got stuck at 0.7 seconds.
As Jordan held the ball absent-mindedly, Paul hilariously jumped up and down, imploring him to put it up.
The Clippers would lose the battle of Western Conference heavyweights, 98-93, in overtime.
