‘Very happy’: Hawthorn Hawks great Joshua Gibson’s baby reveal

Three-time premiership player Joshua Gibson has revealed on social media he’s expecting his first child with girlfriend Ashley Bright.

Former Hawthorn Hawks and North Melbourne star Joshua Gibson has revealed he’s expecting his first child with girlfriend Ashley Bright.

Gibson and Bright made the announcement on social media on Monday, revealing the baby is due in six months.

In the image, Bright holds out an photo of the baby’s sonogram as the happy couple gaze into each other’s eyes.

The baby is due in September.

“Little Gibbo coming September 2021. Hawks fans will be very happy to know, that scans show a large left! #goldenfist,’’ Gibson posted to Instagram.

Bright wrote: “See you in September little man.”

The pair went public with their new relationship in December, Bright uploading an image alongside Gibson and their puppy to Instagram.

The 35-year-old’s tumultuous two-year relationship with mother of two Olga Kononchuk ended in December 2019.

Gibson was a three-time premiership player with Hawthorn, representing the club in 160 AFL games between 2010 and 2017.

He will appear on Channel 9 reality show The Celebrity Apprentice this year on behalf of the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.
