DOES Richmond need to clean house?

The SuperFooty Podcast boys say a resounding yes.

In an election week, Mick Warner says another leader under fire — Damien Hardwick — will probably survive, but the Tigers have to abandon their conservative nature and make some hard decisions.

“Fitzroy have played in more finals than Richmond since 1982 — and they’ve been dead for 20 years,” Warner

“There are 23 players out of contract (at the end of the season) at Richmond, I’d like to move all of them on.

“How gutsy do they want to be?”

Sam Edmund slammed the Tigers, saying they would struggle to attract high profile free agents because Punt Rd was a “stinkhole”.

“Why would anyone go there? Why would Dion Prestia leave Gold Coast (for Richmond),” he asked.

Back together for the first time in weeks, Huddo, Mick and Sam discussed Thursday night football, with differing opinions.

Mick said he believed footy should be restricted to Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but Huddo said Thursday night footy was rating well and Sam said “Give the people what they want.”

Mick took listeners behind his story about Western Bulldog million dollar man Tom Boyd whacking a teammate.

He also wondered why the AFL could not emulate the NFL and have a 17-game season, with each team playing each other once.

Huddo said Collingwood champ Dane Swan’s career was over.

“Gone, retiring,” he said.

But Mick wondered if the Pies could engineer a farewell game.
