In an ugly contest, it was the brilliance of Quiton Narkle that earned him best-on-ground honours in Geelong’s win over North Melbourne.

Patrick Dangerfield may have been the top possession winner with 33 disposals (in a match where North Ben Cunnington was the only other player to reach 30) but it was Narkle who sparked the Cats, according to Scott Gullan.
