A dominant first quarter was followed up quickly with a Dangerfield forward line masterclass in the second.
After crashing a pack and taking out three Pies players, leading to a Luke Dahlhaus goal. Dangerfield decided to do it on his own the second time around.
The former Crows star took a contested mark hard on the boundary line, but found himself on the wrong side for a right footer.

“Danger is incredible. So focused. Didn’t avoid responsibility. Didn’t look like missing,” Channel 7’s Tom Browne wrote.
“Patrick is on,” Crows star Tex Walker wrote.
““No one can go with Paddy Dangerfield tonight, he is at a class above,” Bob Murphy said on AFL Nation.
“Dangerfield is an absolute wrecking ball,” journalist Susie Giese wrote.
“Pretty handy when you can rotate Patty Dangerfield and Gary Ablett through full forward,” journalist Mark Gottlieb wrote.
Just to show the piece of magic wasn’t a fluke, Danger followed it up minutes later with his second goal from an almost identical spot.
The Cats made light work of the Pies as they smashed them in every contest all over the ground and carried on with their first quarter demolition into the second.
“That is as comprehensive a belting as we’ve seen in a first half this season,” Garry Lyon said on Fox Footy.
“That was absolute domination from the Cats. The Pies are lucky to still be in touch,” Sports editor for the Geelong Addy Alex Oates wrote.
“Well that was comprehensive. Beaten up around the ball. Complete opposite to earlier this year,” the Herald Sun’s James Mottershead wrote.
