SPECIAL REPORT: WHO CAN PLAY THROUGH THE PAIN BARRIER?
Fitness coach Dave Misson said Garland had surgery on Tuesday and will get a better idea of how long he will be sidelined after meeting his surgeon next Monday.
“(He) knew that we were struggling a little bit and one man down, so he played the whole game with a broken hand,” Misson told the Demons website.
The Demons have more bad injury news with Christian Salem set to miss another 3-4 weeks after hurting his “good” hamstring at training.
Aaron vandenBerg, who was subbed off on Monday after straining his hamstring, will also miss a month.
