IT HAS been years since we first heard of teenage tearaway Kim Duthie, but the scandal continues, with Ricky Nixon allegedly kicking her in court.

“ST KILDA Schoolgirl” Kim Duthie says she just wants to move on with her life, but her ongoing saga with former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon seems to be never-ending.

In the latest incident, Nixon allegedly went “berserk” in court, kicking Duthie in front of magistrate Elizabeth Lambden. Police are investigating the alleged assault in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 3, the Sunday Herald Sun reported.

A witness said Nixon became upset after a hearing and allegedly booted Duthie in the leg.

The pair fronted court when Duthie attempted to ban the release of Nixon’s “warts and all” autobiography, which she believes defames her and paints her as “a slut and prostitute”.

It was a scandal that began in late 2010 and got uglier as time went on. Duthie quickly became known as the woman who played a part in bringing down one of the most high-profile men in sport.

Nixon established sports management company Flying Start in 1994. He was on top of his game managing some of AFL’s biggest stars, including Gary Ablett, Jason Dunstall, Wayne Carey, Tony Locket and Ben Cousins.

But just 15 years after beginning his journey to becoming one of the biggest names in AFL, it all came crashing down.

It’s still one of football’s biggest scandals, which began when star athlete Duthie met St Kilda players who attended a footy clinic at her school in February 2010.

The next month she travelled to Sydney to compete in an athletics competition, coinciding with a footy game between St Kilda and the Swans.

Duthie watched the game and met up with some of the players and had sex with one of them in a hotel.

Soon after, the then 16-year-old began a relationship with player Sam Gilbert.

In May, Duthie revealed she was pregnant, sparking an investigation by Victoria Police and the AFL.

It was found there was nothing illegal about her relationship with Gilbert.

Then came December, when it all started to unravel.

Duthie posted naked photos of Saints players Nick Riewoldt and Nick Dal Santo to her Facebook account.

She told Fairfax Media at the time she did it out of revenge and she hated St Kilda and the AFL “because they treated me with disrespect”.

Duthie said she wanted them to know what it felt like to have their reputation ruined.

The scandal erupted and Riewoldt held a press conference and Gilbert decided to sue Duthie, as she allegedly took the photos from his computer.

During the scandal, Duthie revelled in her notoriety and she promised to reveal more explicit photos.

In January 2011, Nixon, who was Riewoldt’s manager, and Duthie began texting.

This was the beginning of a tangled web of deceit and lies, where for the next three years it would be his word against hers.

At this time, Duthie was staying in a Melbourne hotel, paid for by the St Kilda club, and in February Nixon was caught visiting her.

She filmed a video of Nixon in her room and an image of him on her bed in his underwear was soon splashed through newspapers and was revealed on television screens, the pair dominating headlines.

Nixon’s life began crashing down around him while Duthie’s also spiralled out of control.

In March, Nixon’s licence to represent players was revoked and Duthie and her family were receiving death threats from strangers.

Duthie and Nixon were both questioned over allegations the pair had sex and did drugs in the hotel.

While the teenager said it was true, Nixon denied it.

In April 2011, Duthie was featured on Channel 7’s Sunday Night program and took a lie-detector test.

She said they were sexually involved and she passed the test.

Explicit photos of Nick Dal Santo were also revealed in 2011.

But just two months later, she was interviewed on The Project and admitted to lying about her liaisons with Nixon.

The hosts asked her how she passed the lie-detector test and she said she just must be a good liar.

Just as everybody thought the truth was revealed, Duthie admitted to lying about lying.

When she believed the The Project was off air, she said to host Dave Hughes “I can already tell that you know”.

“[You know] that everything I just said, I lied about,” she said.

The pair was then thrown back into turmoil and Nixon spoke to Sunrise to again tell his side of the story, that the pair never took drugs or had sex.

When asked why he was in Duthie’s hotel room in his underwear he said “if I knew the answer to that we’d all be geniuses”.

He claimed Duthie drugged him with GHB, while she said Nixon paid her $500 to go on the The Project to deny she had sex or took drugs with him.

The scandal eventually died down and just as everybody started to forget about it, the next instalment erupted.

Duthie took Nixon to court to ban his book and she won an injunction, suspending the book’s release for about a week.

But Nixon, who claims everything he wrote was true, was later granted permission to publish his autobiography.

The book, My Side, now won’t be released until next year due to pending legal issues, according to manager Max Markson.

When Duthie was contacted by news.com.au she refused to talk about the saga and said she just wanted to get on with her life.

This is the end of the Duthie/Nixon chronicle for now, but it probably won’t be the last we hear of it.
