IT HAS been a huge day for footy with five games across the AFL’s JLT preseason series and the AFLW.

It all started with a thriller between the Giants and Dockers in the AFLW, who played out a draw, before GWS’s men’s team secure victory over the Eagles. The Lions kept their unbeaten start to the inaugural season intact with a four-point win over Collingwood and the Demons upset the reigning premiers at Whitten Oval. Then it was over to the AFLW Bulldogs and Demons to take centre stage as Melbourne proved too good, keeping their hopes of making the Grand Final alive. Recap a big day in footy below.
