But the only person to bring Cameron down was boundary umpire Matthew Tomkins, as the duo collided amid the star Cat’s celebrations with just minutes remaining in the match.
“I’m a bit puffed after that! I ran straight into the umpire there – I’m so sorry to him,” Cameron said post-match.

“I might have to give him my shoes or something after that!
“It was a big hit!
“I just remember celebrating and I actually thought I ran into the fence!
“I had no idea what happened!
“When I looked down (and) it was the umpire, I was a bit shocked.”
Fox Footy’s Jason Dunstall laughed as he told Cameron he was “thrilled you didn’t kill the umpire to start with”.
“I’m glad they both got up,” he said.
“It would have been a genuine tragedy if one or both suffered serious injuries out of that.
“We can have a laugh about it thank goodness now.”
Commentator Brian Taylor said it was obvious Cameron hadn’t seen Tomkins as he saluted the big MCG crowd.
“He’s gone to celebrate and he didn’t see him,” he said.
“He’s run straight into him!
“They almost collided heads. (Both are) incredibly apologetic.
“Great to see both umpire and player looking after each other.
“The umpires will clip that up and show that at the meeting tomorrow and go, ‘how tough are we?’
“(Cameron got) sat on his backside by an umpire.”
Cameron heading to the bench for the remaining 90 seconds of the bench after that collision, after a devastating game where he racked up 22 disposals, a game high 12 score involvements and 7.1.
