Australian pranksters have managed to do what many have only dreamt about, sneaking into a sold-out stadium for a footy grand final.

The pair from Western Australia documented their moves in a YouTube video posted on the channel misfitminds on October two.

Using a cunning disguise, the Perth men managed to make it past security at Optus Stadium to watch the game between the Melbourne Demons and the Western Bulldogs.

At the start of the video, they said the match has some of the tightest security of any event in the country.

Despite this, they wanted to be disguised in plain sight.

The pair donned high-vis work shirts and filmed themselves carrying a trolley towards the stadium.

“There’s like 50 gates, and nobody’s watching,” one of the pranksters said.

“We’re getting in old school, no tricks, no fancy stuff, we’re just gonna walk in.

“Only problem is there are cops all near the gate … let’s do it.”

The pair managed to sneak into an elevator and get into the stadium, before taking their hi-vis shirts off and returning to regular clothing.

Footage of the moment shows the friends enjoying a beer while watching the game live.
