HAWTHORN midfielder Jordan Lewis has no case to answer from a clash with Sydney’s Luke Parker.

The AFL match review panel today decided Lewis’ contact with Parker was below the force required to be a reportable offence.

It said a Swans free kick was sufficient penalty for the heavy tackle in the first-quarter at the SCG, which resulted in Parker's head slamming into the turf.

No player was suspended from Round 22 incidents, with Melbourne pair Colin Garland and Rohan Bail able to accept reprimands, along with Port Adelaide’s Brett Ebert.

Garland was booked for rough conduct against Adelaide’s Kurt Tippett and Bail for rough conduct against Michael Doughty.

Ebert’s five-years good record helped him avoid suspension for striking Brisbane’s Daniel Rich.

A match day report against Richmond’s Shane Edwards for striking Essendon’s Angus Monfries was thrown out after the panel deemed the action was insufficient force.

St Kilda’s Jarryn Geary came under scrutiny for an incident with GWS Giants’ Phil Davis, but the panel decided the Saint’s tackle was not unreasonable.

Geelong’s Paul Chapman and Gold Coast’s Campbell Brown were cleared after video scrutiny of contact to Bulldog Dylan Addison and Blue Brock McLean.
