SUNS superboot Trent McKenzie is set to be punted from the Gold Coast senior side for this Sunday’s clash with Hawthorn at the MCG for missing a recovery session last weekend.
The Suns scored their maiden win at Metricon Stadium last Saturday night when they defeated GWS by 30 points.
The team held its recovery session at Kurrawa Beach the following morning at 9am but McKenzie was a no-show.
The Gold Coast will name its 25-man squad tonight for the showdown with the Hawks.
